Providence Rotary - Street Painting Festival

The Providence Rotary Street Painting Festival brings together hundreds of artists and thousands of spectators, transforming the Bank of America Skating Center into a gallery of street canvasses of diverse and exciting chalk art. Artists range from elementary students to professional artists and designers. They compete by age category for a pool of $2,000 in prizes and gift certificates to area venues.

Sponsor a square and your name or that of your firm or charity of your choice will be prominently displayed at the festival. Proceeds from the event will be administered by the Providence Rotary Charities Foundation and donated to youth and community programs in the Providence area. Organizations receiving grants from the Providence Rotary Charities Foundation in May of 2011 include Adoption Rhode Island; Camp JORI; Camp Ruggles; Camp Surefire; Girl Scouts of Rhode Island, Inc.; J. Arthur Trudeau Memorial Center; Little Sisters of the Poor, Jeanne Jugan Residence; Lyme Disease Association of Rhode Island; PARI Independent Living Center; Providence City Arts for Youth; Providence Community Library; RI Family Shelter; School One; Southside Community Land Trust; The Fund for UCAP; The Samaritans; and Whitmarsh House.

As a sponsor, you may designate a specific individual (or team) to create your artwork or we will provide an artist at no cost to you.
