Thank you to everyone who helped to make the “Legend’s for Literacy Gala” a success.
The results on how much was raised is still being tabulated.
Committee chairs should submit their expenses with a receipt to President Kris as soon as possible. A wrap up meeting to review all aspects of the gala will be held in November.
The nominating committee is seeking members to be placed on the ballot for the board of directors. Five members will be selected to serve a two-year term from July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2026. Members in good standing are eligible to be considered for the board. Please contact Sharon Garland if you would like to be placed on the ballot.
On Tuesday, October 24th we will be holding a special joint meeting with the Rotary Club of Cranston to celebrate World Polio Day. We will be sharing ways on how we can help to end polio in the world by pledging to support the PolioPlus Society.
On Tuesday, October 31st, we will be having a Halloween party during our regular luncheon meeting. There will be prizes for the best costume, special Halloween treats and surprises.
