SPEAKER: CLUB UPDATES!
The Board approved a balanced budget, contingent on raising $12,000 (separate and apart from the Foundation). This includes the signature event, our gala, but needs to also include additional fundraising events throughout the year.
Please get in touch with Pete to get involved with the gala! We need everyone’s help!
The cost of lunch has gone up, the vast majority of which is Rotary’s cost, including processing cashless payments. But this $26 is going toward the Rotary experience! Quarterly billing option will also return. Dues are not increasing for this year.
Benefit of Zoom is that we can attract speakers from across the Globe! Please do send speaker recommendations to Steve Hug!
Active membership is below 75 people. We need to increase our numbers, and this is something all members need to be involved in!
Kim Dumpson and Erica Busillo Adams will be new Board members, beginning in June 2021, to replace those who have transitioned off the Board.
Literacy Committee reported that students and entire families are using the MyON reader-13,000 books were read in one of our middle schools! More data from the schools will be forthcoming. Thanks to everyone for their support in making this possible!
