Welcome back, President Paul! He thanked Mike Kelly and Anthony Hollingshead for standing in his stead while he was away.
Terri Adelman announced that 2000 books for the Rotary Reads Program in the fourth grade have arrived. Sharon Garland will organize Rotarians to attach the bookplates and will contact us. Terri asked for contributions to this program to match George Babcock’s generous gift of $2,500 and for volunteers to read to the students. Terri will take care of delivering the books to the schools.
Barbara Harris encouraged members to bring their spouses and friends to the Paint Off! on April 29 to support the Providence Rotary Charities Foundation. Nine artists will create original works to be auctioned off that night. Barbara is asking that every Rotarian bring a bottle of wine or spirits (that they personally, or their guests would enjoy!) to the next three meetings to be put into baskets for the Paint-Off! silent auction. Jeanne D’Agostino also requests we bring in “small, powerful” items (restaurant gift cards, theater tickets, etc.) for the silent auction

Paula Jacobson asks members to bring school supplies (or cash donations) to help RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards) members fill backpacks that will be given to students from low income families
