In their 150 year history, one thing has always remained the same: they provide a safe space and structured programming for our city’s youth to play, grow, and learn. Today, 82% of their members live under the poverty line. To assure them a bright future, they work to break the cycle of poverty. That means addressing the structural issues that hold our kids back, including lack of access to educational programming, and lack of exposure to critical opportunities that develop their skills, talents, and passions.
